Nothing wrong with praying, then getting back to work trying to solve the issue. In their belief, god will help them in their work as they try to solve the water problem. Sometimes, spirituality can help a person's morale through hard times.. |

Yeah, it rained a little last night. I guess God heard Sunny's prayers and sent us "relief" considering that the rain had absolutely no impact on the drought.
(Never mind rain was predicted for last night several days ago before he prayed)

Atlanta prays for rain, God responds sarcastically
Yesterday, Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue held a prayer vigil on the steps of the state Capitol, asking the Lord to bring rain to the parched Southern state. Said Perdue,
"All of us know we are dependent on rain. I am just a person who believes it comes from God."
Last night, God shot back with a quarter-inch of precipitation, which is probably less than He had planned before the vigil took place. Are these dried-out Christians just not praying correctly?

how embarresing.. got a text the other day as well from a random friend in arkansas "you better pray for rain"...
