nothing wrong with meeting people online for friendship or otherwise. it's just another means to connect with people. No different than meeting people in a nightclub, in a supermarket, at a pub, at school, at work, etc. At the end of the day you still have to meet them and make the connection in person.

I don't know if you realized what year it is or taken note of the technology that has become an integral part of everyone's every day lives?

i think people shouldn't be using the internet to find "love". using it as an avenue to meet new people is great and if that turns into something else, fine. but i think a lot of people need to get out of this 'finding love over the net' mentality.
