Turn on unison, set it to 8 voices. Turn up the amp release. Switch on reverb and delay effects. Now play some big chords, or just smash your hands randomly on the keys. Do this for about 30 seconds, it should start to click alot. I know I shouldn't really be using that much unison with a polyphonic patch, but it's the only way to reproduce these clicks consistently. I've been able to reproduce this on all Virus TIs I've used (Three so far). By the way, this works in standalone mode as well, so you can't blame the USB. |

This edition also includes beta support for Cakewalk Sonar and Steinberg Nuendo as well beta support for Microsoft Windows Vista (x86). The new version introduces a special Live Mode which lowers the latency on certain hosts such as Ableton Live and Motu Digital Performer. We improved Virus Control's handling of songs with large amounts of track automation and added video tutorials for Steinberg Cubase and Digidesign Pro Tools. Various issues have been addressed and improved or bug fixed. In difference to the public beta version, 2.5.1 release is Apple Logic 8 compatible and also fixed an issue which might lead to unwanted crackling while playing. |

| Originally posted by derail It'd be like getting an acoustic guitar or piano, and if you happen to play at a certain speed, the instrument can't handle it and the sound will be affected. That won't happen - you want to know, if I feel like bashing a heap of piano keys all over the place, the piano will give me the sound of bashing the piano keys. There's a certain peace of mind, knowing that the instrument can handle whatever you wish to do with it. |

| Originally posted by Magnus Also, now this is before I upgraded to the 2.5 firmware, I had a lot of pops and clicks and researching on the Ti forums I came to a thread where a suggested remedy was to turn off the white BPM light completely, and dim the other lights. I did this and noticed a lot of the poping and clicking was gone. I can dig up the thread and link to it if you want. |

What kinds of TI's have you tried to reproduce this problem on? Were all three polar versions? Or rack or what?
Only curious..
