I don't think it means your weak, just that you don't have total control over yourself.
Of course though, it does ball up emotions so that unless you let it out on occasion (I.E. going apeshit on a pillow, which I do occasionally) your gonna fester up until you explode and beat someone half to death. So you gotta be careful to not hide everything. It leads to fucked up places.

I cried a few days ago while walking back home from the video store as I talked with my best friend on my cell. She made me realize that my twin sister and I really drew far apart, that we don't hang out any more at all and we don't know what's happening in each other's lives
We were always close, but since we moved in together more than a year and a half ago, we started hanging out with different people, worked different hours and went to classes at different times.. it always seemed that when she was home, I was away and vice versa. But, more importantly, she purposely stopped telling me things in defence that "I was never open towards anyone", which is partially true, but hey, that's me, I can't do much about that. She was always very talkative and open, and now she just suppresses everything inside her on purpose.
Well, it got worse, she doesn't even want to go for coffee unless someone else is coming with us
Her company means a lot to me and I don't have many true friends, all the people that are tangled in my life are just by-passers, we hang out together, but they're not real friends..

Dumb Question ahead for brunette - how old are you and your sis?
i'm 18...i think the last time i cried i was 14 or 15..i remember crying and then saying, "i'm a man, i'm not supposed to cry"..made up my mind never to cry again, and tho i have come close to crying for various reasons, i always remember that and control myself...now its like an ongoing record for me

I just can't understand how people are not close to their twins. I have a friend who has a twin sister and they don't even talk to each other.
I would kill to have a twin brother. That would kick ass!
I have some really good friends who are twins, and they are really close.
It can be fun, but also ultra competitive. (Identical) twins are so fucking competitive it is amazing. Compete at sports, girls, etc. And always getting confused with each other. I just call them by their last name, cause I can never remember. They have no distinguishing marks or haircut styles to tell them apart.

i do not know any twins[/off topic mode]

| Originally posted by Damo crying is deemed gay. honestly, to me letting any emotion take you over is a sign of weakness. I've learned to block things out for the most part. Actually, that's not completely true, I don't block them out, I keep it inside, it's just more convenient. I feel a lot of rage and injustice on a regular basis, it's hard to keep composed sometimes, especially when you're dealing with really immature and petty losers who are on a lower level than you, but you gotta rise above, and it makes the sweet moments in life that much sweeter. |
hey Infinity, how's it going
partying it up?
on to questions...
Drizzt, I told her that I realized we're not as close.. and our best friend (yes, we share one best friend) told her the same, though she still blames it on me, but on the other hand seems "too busy" to do anything about it.
Devbert, we'll be 20 next week (she's 10 min older).
Trancewave, just like any sibilings, twins can be distant too, either because of incompatibility or rivalry. The two of us are extremely different, but we were very close and always together because we moved many times and realized that in a new country/city/school we only knew one another, so we'd stick together. We were never competing (yes, happened a few times that we were attracted to the same guy, went for the same job, but usually we would just back out because we knew the other one will get hurt). She was better with grades, I was better in sports, she always knew exactly what she wanted, I would leave it to possibilities.. and our parents always compared us, which we hated. But our parents kept that friendship between us strong and now that we moved out, each one went her way.
I told her that I'm planning to go to Berlin & Prague for a week+ this summer before going to Montenegro and that she should come with me, but she's just too eager to go to Montenegro, so she passed.

About a week ago... Had a tough argument with my parents...
It was about how much money should I spend immediately on DJing and I ran completely out of power and broke to my room in tears when I got completely convinced and realised that going to DJ means being a failure and a zero to my parents... I can't remember the last time I felt so empty and useless besides that

Hey man don't feel like that, you'r parents should supposrt you with whatever you do (not saying yours don't) and if they dont fuck them
I haven't even got TT's yet but put it this way, im feeling like going to university any more, and i want to be a dj, no matter what anyone says.
Go for it i say..
two christmases ago when i watched "It's a Wonderful Life"

| Originally posted by Devbert No bro, that was really interesting. Sad too. But you helped me remember the last time I cried. It was about 2 or 3 months ago. I started at point guard for our varsity basketball team, and we were in the semifinals of CCS, and we ended up losing to the team who went all the way. But we were up 10 at half, and I was pumped up, and excited. We had to drive over 90 minutes each way to play too. Then we slowly unraveled, and the game was tied with 2 minutes to go. The coach totally fucking forgot to put me back in (and told me the next day he was sorry he didn't) and we ended up losing in the last 30 seconds cause of some penalty shots (7 plus fouls). Once we lost, I just totally realized, I will never play basketball again. This is the last organized game of my life. And I thought about playing on the team for the last 4 years, and playing through middle school, and before that. And I just hugged a really good friend of mine (my backup, one of my best friends, who was playing instead of me), and I just cried for about 30 seconds. Then, stopped. It was a fucked up moment. I felt totally defenseless. On the bus ride back, I listened to a trance CD, and it put me in a calm mood, and I thought about other things. Girls, College, Life, my future. But I will never forget that feeling when the buzzer went off to end the game. It felt like I got sucker punched in the stomach. |
FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!
I cried 2 years ago for the last time. I was at Sensation 2000. Dj Tiesto was playing. I stand at the front and 35.000 people went totally insane when the second song was Silence (his own mix). I stood there totally overwhelmed by emotions and I cried of happiness.
very very long story... but long story turned into a very very short 1... in august i had to come to UK and i had to leave the girl i love! for months and months i cried because at times our relationship was like going in circles of madness because we weren't communicating very well. then worst comes to worst recently we broke up.
she was the only girl in my life i saw a future with. now its gone and i have to live with it for about another 47 days till i actually gets to go home and try to fix this and win her back.
