I don't care for it.

Yet you use MySpace?

Facebook, when used right, is one of the most comprehensive and professional social networks out there. Why do people still carry this mentality?

What's wrong with feeling 14 years young again? It's great to feel that way. As long as you don't act that way. Although here we are ranting on a message board

Smiling Frog

hahahaha... I'd rather feel 20something.

I use MySpace for promoting mostly and finding out what's happening plus I'm already used it.

I don't have time for FaceBook.

My myspace has is solely promotion and info page. So much so a lot of my old friends deleted me. It's nice to have something to keep in touch with freinds I actually know.

They probably deleted you cuz you were posting too many bulletins and most likely spamming their comments area.

I've been deleted too. I was Donny Brasco's only friend that posted bulletins. So to him, that was just too much. Oh and he also deleted DJ Woody.

Friends = emails or phone calls.

facebook was made for college students and I think that is still where it shines. I think everyone is still bitter when they went public, all the high school kids really have made it come downhill

First off, Facebook is not 'public', but I know what you meant to say.

Second, I don't see how people could be pissed off if they only include college friends or work colleagues in their network. I don't have any high school kids in my network and everything is just fine for me.

BTW, truncated profiles are rolling out soon. Basically, you'll get to view your friend's profile without seeing the 30 junk apps they have installed/embedded into their profile. That will make for much better navigation and eyesore reductions (you can manually view their apps if you wish in 'tabs').

Anyhow, traffic, ad contracts and an insane $15 billion valuation certainly suggest that this service is going anywhere but downhill.
