All I can say to everyone who nominated me is Thank you. I took a nap this evening when I got home not even thinking to check the polls.

When I went to check, I saw a name on there that I didnt think I would see...

ME!!!!!

Its been a real Thrill being able to play at the most prestiguous club I grew up loving. Its through all of you that I continuely strive to better myself as a Dj. 1015 is not only my home, but a place of great memories for me. I have met many of my closest friends there, and continue to make more as time passes. I hold residency at the club, and sometimes when I go places in SF, I get recognized! Truely awsome experience, and something I can write home about.

Many of you I have watched over the years and learned from. I credit our locals for providing me the skill, as each night I came home after resting...the next day I tried to mimic what I saw in the booth the night before. I can recall starting out with my old Dj Partner D-Trance in his garage. We both dreamed of Djin in front of a crowd. I never thought that I would get that chance.

Now that you've nominated me, theres only one thing I can ask, and thats you VOTE FOR ME TOO!

For those of you who have been wanting my mixes, missed one of my mixes. I will be posting EVERY SINGLE MIX from the summer of 2006 to present day. I may also include some of my old mixes I gave over to digitally imported back in the days. Ive already started looking to find all the mixes I have posted on here. They will all be for download.

Lastly, it does mean alot to me to be nominated on this poll. To be along side some of the best is really awsome. Thank you again for those who nominated me!

A big Thanks to Taj for helping mentor and coach me as a Dj too.

P.S. Ill be working a little harder next week. Im going be releasing a massive 750 CDS to the crowd. I did 350 last time for Rank1, only 5 remained from that party.

Anyhow, take what I say with a grain-of-salt most of the time....as I always say, I am horrible at saying things and come off a hundred times worse than my intentions are meant to be.

It's all in good fun in the end and not meant to be taken seriously for the most part.

I'm a nice person...really, but also a self-declared a-hole...that and I just say what others dare not to in fear of them offending people and don't want to cause a riff (and no, I am not imaginging it's what they think...I am stating what they say their thoughts are to me...damn wussies).

BTW, feel lucky. I was 1000000000000x worse like 6-7 years ago. I was just a smug biznatch.

The reason I don't like brown-nosing, though, is that in the end it's not helping the other person out. I've seen way too many threads on this board in my time of people brown-nosing others over things like sets when their sets have a lot to be desired in so many areas. It just annoys me because that does not help the person OR THE SCENE out. Because some of the people get caught up in the brown nosing and think they are as good as people come out saying (a general statement, not directed at anyone in particular) and at the point they start feeling what they are doing is fine and don't strive to make themselves better. I can think of one local DJ (who I wouldn't call a TAer) who is so full of himself because of a couple things it makes me want to PUKE. And I don't want to see others fall into this trap.

Direct, Dave and I go back to the early days of Nikita & Release... so I dont take anything he says to offense. Back then at 1015, I hardly could understand what he was saying cause it was so frickin loud!
