i just want to say again this movie is great. i watch a good amount of movies, from cheesy to very bad to really good to dark, and this is one of the few movies that really got me deep inside. this movie spoke a thousand tongues to me.

Does the book end in the same fashion as the movie?

Absolute work of art.

The movie was amazing, and for those of you crying about the ending, suck a dick no homo.

I loved the beginning of the movie, I was a bit dissapointed it wasn't that relevant to the general theme of the movie. It was supposed to be about how the times have changed as I gather from the title and the ending, so I kinda miss the link between the stories. They get into telling the story of that cowboy running away with the money, while the movie is about something else.
Entertaining watch though

Perfect ending. It's Coen brothers! Duh.

Haha, I loved sitting in the movie KNOWING that's the type of ending they were going to use and then when it happened, a bunch of shmucks gasped and said "what the fuck" under their breaths.

If you dont like the Coen brothers, dont watch them. Theyre awesome. You cant expect everyone to understand their beyond-laugh-track creativity.

I'm trying to think of a Cohen bros flick, that ends in a similar way, can't think of any

the film was flawless. they could have gone for a typical big shootout in the end, but i liked the ending. left you wondering as you left the cinema.

The part of the movie that shocked me was when Josh Browlin's character was killed. I knew something was coming... but the way it happened and how it was portrayed was sheer mastery. It just made you feel sick after it happened because you thought he was so close to getting shit straightened out.

And I have to say the movie was fucking phenomenal. Glad I saw it and will rent it when it hits dvd

Yeah I didnt see that coming at all. And it just happened like we SHOULD have seen it coming. Like it wasnt a big deal.

I fucking loved this movie.

very well done, and there's no musical score, and that adds to the whole atmosphere.

the ending kinda ... flutters into nothing. but who cares...great movie.

I liked this movie overall. Great acting, cinematography, and some awesome scenes, but there were far too many plot-holes and unrealistic bits. I didn't like the ending either. Closure over interpretation IMO.
