Thanks for the info as it is very helpful for me. I was having trouble deciding between TAO and Tiesto. Since Ferry is only playing for 2 hours, I will be at Tiesto. Now, I can go buy tickets before they raise the prices again (for the last time) :-)

Wherever you go, have a blast!!

Word, that way we can leave early! Nice!

Padawan Learner: A young Jedi that undergoes intensive one-on-one training under a Jedi Knight or Jedi Master after graduating from the academy.

Soon, you will learn the power of the force and come over from the dark side of only liking the trance genre of EDM. Trance has long been known as the 'starter set' for EDM listeners.

not quite true to all people... that's just people admitting that they're getting "OLD" so they listen to other genres slower than trance... i myself has gone into the wonders of psy... flame on!

All of you need to give up your floaties and come swim with the big boys in the breakbeats pool where there's more than one time signature.

I can agree with him, for example, if Sasha plays his new track Park It In The Shade, you can bet your ass half the place is gonna fall asleep. I'm actually depending on Digweed to tear it up, and hoping to hear Xpander (of course!) as well though But I'm sure I'll enjoy em, I like Bas' quote how Digweed "isn't human behind the decks" haha

Is it confirmed that Ferry gets 2 hrs? Cause he better!!

+1 I am listening to some Digital Witchcraft from 2003 and I am totally lost in the set. I have also been venturing into D&B as of late, but I am still getting my bearings as some D&B is horrid while some is just amazing.

Posted by Clovis on Nov-27-2007 23:37:

I love breaks man. Also, Sasha used to play a lot of breaks...too bad he doesn't go there much anymore...

Posted by MonkeyGirl on Nov-27-2007 23:44:

This will be a great show, I still havent decided what to do for NYE.

I really don't understand the distribution of DJs of differing genres. It would seem that trance is the biggest genre, but it would also seem that house DJs are by far dominating the club scene. I can understand why d 'n b is so underrepresented, but why aren't breaks more widespread? One thing I like about burning man is that there are breaks and d 'n b everywhere alongside the (psy)trance and (dub)house.

i fell in love with breaks at burning man. breaks played on the best sound system in the desert and a giant flamethrower over the dj booth = best energy/crowd I'VE ever experienced.

....been lookin for a party with breaks ever since
