people where i live are too laid back to even run yellow lights.

sydney is different though; green means go, yellow means go, red means go fast. big city people are always in a hurry to die.

In NYC a lot of people do it, it gets annoying too because its not the young people that are in the rush but its the fucking elders that are rushing to their grave.

I remember getting off the offramp of the interstate once in the ghetto (have to drive through the hood to get to my place) and seeing two SUVs just CRUISE through this red light and then one turned one way and the other the opposite way. They were definitely trying to get away from something.

As far as people just blatantly running lights on a regular basis, I don't see it all that often. Usually it's just someone trying to get through a yellow and it turns red sooner than they expect. I've done the same more times than I can count.

whether or not people run red/yellow lights is the least of our problems. Adelaide drivers in the main are fucking shit.
