there is no sound from my speakers

how do i connect them? i have a red and white cable from the "unbal" master output on my mixer. this used to go into the amplifier. the speakers are behringer truth b2031a. they have an input that says "bal/unbal" but when i put the cable in nothing happens. when i turn them on the light is on so i know there is power or whatever and there is that little pop or whatever sound when you turn on speakers. do i need a new cable or something?

you must've had a pretty crazy day!

Dear Melbourne customers,

I would just like to thank everyone who came out and supported the grand opening of DJ Warehouse in Melbourne. It was amazing to see the amount of people who made the effort to line up for hours, and still enter the store smiling and not frustrated and for this alone, i thank u.
If for any reason you felt rushed due to the amount of people outside, feel free to come in to the store, take your time and really explore the new showroom.
I would like to personally thank every single person that entered the store, Interview for their ongoing support and the Melbourne weather for giving me two days grace. I look forward to seeing you all again at DJ Warehouse real soon.
