Posted by Sushipunk on Nov-27-2007 06:39:

Smarties here are pretty much like regular M&Ms. Little chocolate things covered with a hard colourful shell.

Posted by Lilith on Nov-27-2007 06:44:

Can we still get them?
I've not seen the 'M&M' type Smarties in ages.

I just pwned this whole fucking thread. kthnx.

Sour cherries and Swedish berries, son.

You're a post too late, and without pics.

You lose.

Thank god. My childhood was almost ruined there, for a moment.

I'm totally gonna buy Smarties next time I see them

You can get like a 1lb bag of M&M's though for $6...

Well, that'll go nicely with my beer.

Lol, a lb of M&Ms?

As far as I know the Canadian version of Smarties isn't available here in the States. I could be wrong, but I've never once seen them. When I was up in Canada-land visiting relatives (and the Land of Medicine Hat) in June my brother came back with a big, fat eight-pound bag of the Canadian version of Smarties. They're so good, M&M's have nothing on them.

Now here is a man who understands

Smarties > M&Ms

Any day.

Yessums, I seem to have lost a half a pound of mine somewhere, I don't ever know where...

Well, let's examine the possibilities.

1. You ate half a pound of M&Ms (most likely scenario)
2. Little miss thing ate half a pound of M&Ms (quite possible, but you could be territorial regarding food-stuffs, which she would know)
3. Kitty at half a pound of M&Ms (Om Nom Nom Nom)

???

Posted by Lilith on Nov-27-2007 08:50:

1: I'll deny that!
2: She's not allowed... makes her ass big
3: ...

KITTY DID IT!

win. except the sugar. wish i knew that when i'd munch on 2 bags a day in school

Posted by pvdAngel on Nov-27-2007 13:50:

Speaking of Smarties, bring the blue ones back! I don't care if the colouring had beetle's blood or whatever, they were the best ones!

Nerds were win when I was a kid. Oh, Lovehearts and the chalk-like Parma Violets are also nice.

how can you distinguish the flavor of smarties they all taste the same, sugar and artifical coloring? i love 'tm though

The blue and orange ones I feel have more of a distinct taste compared to the others, imo.

and EVERY candy (with the exception of the medicine candy posted on the first page) has been exceptional with a seal of Sam Approval.
