Imo there shouldn't be a time where you "should" know what you want to do with your life...it differs way too much from person to person...and really sometimes i think a high level of intelligence can both help you find out what you want but can also make you overthink things and end up not going anywhere. I don't get the thing about not asking people either . What's wrong with that?

Why would you want someone ELSE to tell you how to live YOUR life? What's the fucking point in living if you don't make your own choices/mistakes/discoveries/etc.?

Nobody can tell you what's right for you...sure, they can maybe help provide some clarity, or share some experiences, or give a few tips on where to start...but at the end of the day it's not up to anyone else what's going to make you fulfilled/happy.

I don't see anything wrong with it.

If you don't ask questions, how are you going to get answers?

I agree Jenny, nobody can tell you what to do but they can certainly offer suggestions.

You are taking this to a bit of an extreme. I don't think he's lost and wants the COR to help him out. Looking at his philosophical bent, I think he just made this thread to see how people respond to these type of questions.

Oh ok, but you say yourself that others can provide clarity or share experiences. That was EXACTLY what i was thinking about. There's nothing at all wrong with taking advice, i wasn't talking about people "telling" you how to live. That's a bit much.
