+1 on luciano and villalobos... i was supposed to catch them in ibiza, but at space they post like 20 djs over 12 hours and you're somehow supposed to figure out who plays in which room and when and soooo amped to hear ewan pearson next week i need to keep an eye out for some of those other names...

DJ's to come back...

I doubt seriously it will ever happen again but the marcus schulz and Armin show at halloween was without a doubt the best party experience of my life. When marcus started early and there was only about 40 people in Slide it was like having a private party with the guy. Ive been to most every major dj event in the bay area for the last 3 years and nothing came close to either of these guys on that night...Jamie

yeah that night was seriously insane... everything from the music and vibe inside to the shitshow goin on outside every time i went out for fresh air spundae halloween parties are typically awesome no matter who's playing, but that slide-ruby combo they played with this year was killer!

No need to name the obvious ones who will be back around. I list Carl just because there are sometimes HUGE gaps between his bookings. I know i'm missing a bunch of DJs, probably more on the prog side.

Armin just because I didn't see him at all this year. Everytime he was in town - I was out of town

They should do a Armin Only show at the bill graham. That would be off the hook. If not that the Sunday night Armin shows are the highlights of life at the moment..

And as far as Holden goes, both sets of his I heard in NY in September were fucking beautiful. Way better than that night at Avalon a few years ago.

I'm actually tired of super-clubs with 20 TA/friends who know who is spinning surrounded by a bunch of guido/fob n00bs trying to figure out why they're not at a hip-hop night. Smaller venues are where its at. Even Avalon bringing big names into the Spider Room for more intimate sets is really exciting to me, its so much more fun to see these guys rock small crowds of people who are really into it...

Ace Ventura was here in the LA area in June or July this year. Protoculture was also here in September. You need to get in touch with the real psy scene Josh!

On that note: Bamboo Forest will be here on December 15th. If I need to say more then you should just stay home.
