1st.. Tranceaddicts make up a small percentage of the clubbing world.

2nd.. Why can't you let ppl have their own opinion and VOICE it?? Instead of being such an ignorant cunt.

Not everyone has to think like you in order to love the music. I guarantee you alot of TA's [which you judge and do not KNOW] have damn good reasons to complain about something. When a dj is good.. you will hear it from the TA's. You didn't seem to say anything about PvD's review in June when there was hardly any negativity in that thread. So comparing a DJ who played a certain way [GREAT] 4 months before this last gig, is a damn good reason to complain.

If you want a happy fun loving.. hippy trance generation.. Head on over to anjunabeats forums.

Only tekckyz would like corsten and lawrence.

edit- I think we ALL can agree... even the non-trance lovers.. Edgar on the terrace would be a damn good thing! \o/

I dont give a fuck about a message board Melly.... Im talking about the whole trance scene in general. There is nothing left of it.. and there wont be down the road... and the music we all love is dying to house music. It's annoying as fuck.

Yes, i am bitter because i am sick of hearing house music in every fucking club i walk into. You dont think club owners and promoters watch these boards? When every fucking review or comment is about some stupid shit.. why in the fuck should they consider Trance music when everybody is going to bitch about the smallest detail about it?

Posted by chach on Dec-06-2007 17:25:

how did i miss this

Posted by EDM-head on Dec-06-2007 22:39:

Trance is pretty much dying in the US cuz when I went to Trance Energy this year it was amazing to see how much people around the world really appreciate Trance music.

Edgar V is definitely the best canidate for Terrace!!!!!

I hate to burst your bubble, but that happens at house music shows just as much as any trance related event. I know many a trainspotter that goes to all sorts of EDM related events, I've gotten caught up in that bullshit myself at times. Your arguement is far to jaded and one-sided to be taken seriously. Welcome to the world of clubbing/EDM.

I can agree with you that there is a lot of negativity in the scene. But it's up to you on whether you're going to let it effect you or not. There is also a lot of positive attitude and goodness in the scene as well, if you're only looking for the negative, then that's all you're going to find.

I disagree, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion... by the way, you dont need to welcome me to the world of edm/clubbing - ive been clubbing since i was 14 years old in Orlando (when the scene was insane there - one of the first U.S. cites where you could walk out of the club at 11am Sunday morning) and I am 32 years old now.

- the dj didnt impress you,
- the dj didnt bang it hard enough,
- the dj was a huge let down,

and you all...
- will cry like little bitches and spend the evening in your car,
- will complain about overpriced drinks,
- will bitch about the club being too packed with kids,
- will bitch about having to wait in line for an hour,
- will piss and moan about people throwing $20 bills at the doormen letting people in before you,
- will shit, moan, and groan about a bouncer taking away your fucking glowsticks, flashlights, or lazer pointers,
- will grunt at the fact that the dj trainwrecked one or two times,
- will be in a shitty mood because the dj played too much cheese,
- will vomit at the fact that the ticket was $30,
- will be pissed that the dj played the same songs that he played in another city 10 days before the event,
- will bitch about having to pay $2 for ice water,
- will piss and moan that you couldnt find any beans,
- will be bitter about a boncer kicking you out of the club because you were busted with drugs... Therefore LP and Space fucking sucks and you will never go back to that shithole ever again,

and will complain more about how....
- the dj wasnt as good as he was on a specific date 8 years ago,
- the opening dj sucked, therefore it ruined your night,
- the dj booth is way too fucking high
- u said hello to the dj but he didnt say hi back, so therefore u think that the dj is a cocksucking ****** and u no longer have respect for him
- The LED lights were pointing in the wrong direction,
- The fucking videos on the screens are lame because the visuals didnt go well with the music,
- The dj played a cheesy fucking commercial song that u was obsessed with 5 years ago, but somehow got too cool to like it now

and will be pissed off at the world because...
- you could ID 70% of the dj's set
- the snatch that you have been chasing around in the clubs for the past 4 years was up in the vip giving Scott Storch a handjob.

The list will go on and on... You Trance people are a WHOLE DIFFERENT BREED.

PEACE OUT.

Someone has been taking notes... & has done there homework.

& yet bitches aboout everyone on a message board.
Everyone is entitled to their own opnion.

U should come out & hang at one of the BBQ's one time & enjoy some bad ass TRANCE being played all day long. It's all bout enjoying the music how I wanna enjoy it.

That night Lawrence was good, I agree. But he sucked so bad at Bang, and then the recent scam with DJ Mags poll = no way. And that night with Corsten/Lawrence was actually my least favorite Corsten set. Still did good, but left the hard stuff to Lawrence.

But LP should definitely bring him back, U R 100% RIGHT, and if he does drinks are on me Tecky.

Corsten always delivered @ Space:
Space Labor Day weekend 2003 = A++ set;
Space 1/04 = A+++ set;
every 3 or 4 months @ Space in 2004 = A grade every time;
Space WMC 2005 AFTERHOURS PVD NIGHT = A+++++++ IF NOT THE BEST TRANCE SET EVER; and
Space 10/06 = B+.

Come on LP, just do it already, even if just to piss off Mansion. I promise between me and Tecky your bar will make it's money

dude its not the music its the people. i dont understand why you guys have so much fucking fun hanging out with so many crackheads. dude, ive done my fair share of partying. ive probably done more than a lot of peoples shares. theres no need to do it every weekend and continue taking things to the extreme. the love for music will never die. but the need to "be there" and be rubbing up against sweaty people, losing my hearing, and spending my entire paycheck in one weekend is/has died.

It would be good to see a good trance act on the terrace. It has been a while since that has happened. I know trace fans do not buy a lot of drinks, so they should up the door price by 5-10$ what it is normally and try trance on the terrace for a night. Ivano, Cedric, (blah blah) and a lot of of the other current and past residents (with the exception of Roland on a really good morning) are all pretty boring on the terrace.

Posted by epdarks on Dec-18-2007 19:38:

Now that they are doing friday night parties I think they could make a trance night successful on the terrace.

When I went for Boris it wasn't very crowded, they didn't have the upstairs or main room open and it was still dead. Bring a couple of smaller trance DJs for cheap on a friday w/ Edgar V opening/closing. I understand it's a risk but, IMO, it's a small risk.

Posted by hiram on Dec-18-2007 23:06:

im not so sure trance for afterhours would do so well outside of conference.

Posted by hiram on Dec-18-2007 23:12:

though the idea of having sander van doorn did cross my mind this past saturday at robbie

Posted by epdarks on Dec-19-2007 05:11:

Do well or not, it's one Friday night, I'm sure he could squeeze a trance DJ in there...

Posted by nfekted on Dec-19-2007 14:49:

yes yes once a month on friday plz.

Especially since Edgar is strictly house now..

Posted by koky69 on Dec-19-2007 22:09:
