I am a student but I work easily 70+ hours in a given week.

Posted by Halycon on Dec-05-2007 22:29:

depends on the time of year. most of the year is around 44-50, but February-march, and nov- dec i can put in any where form 60-80 hours a week.

Posted by zokissima on Dec-05-2007 23:25:

Between 50-60 hours of work, and around 25-30 hours of school. It's getting to be a bit too much though.

you guys hiring? i don't mind moving to mtl.

i actually work 3-4h out of the 8h on a regular day which is the IT industry standard? but then again, i sometimes have 10h non-stop days that i actually enjoy.

i picked the 36-44h option.

+1

My days are usually 9 1/2 hours though, so around 47 hour weeks. I either have nothing to do because everything is working fine, or a day when everything goes wrong, like today! lol. Thank you IT.

How do you do this? That's 10 hours of work a day, including weekends. 24-10-6 = 8 hours a day for studying, eating, and whatever else random daily tasks that you have to do. You must be a model of time management and non-procrastination. I wish I could be like you.

Paid for 40 hours/week and half my job consists of surfing the net to look for cool ideas or going on Facebook/MySpace

I would not recommend my workplace to a buddy! The place sucks bad!

But there's plenty of IT jobs in Mtl if you're really intrested

Full-time student, but starting co-op in a month. Should be a fun 4 months with seeing money roll in for once.

Posted by yankeeBaby on Dec-06-2007 04:20:

I get paid salary (not by the hour), so if someone asked me to work OT I would tell them to go f*ck themselves.

I get paid for 40 hours but our boss lets us out fridays at 2-3pm because she wants to leave so bad before the awful commute/traffic home. I am perfectly fine with that and work about 37 hours

37 - 42 weekly.

I don't have any bills to pay, since my folks still spoil me, which makes this more than enough hours for me.

Posted by Sasha on Dec-06-2007 06:00:

close to 90 hrs for me

Posted by catinthehat on Dec-06-2007 06:04:

I work 168 hours a week. At being awesome.

It hasn't happened yet, though. But I'm still trying.

Posted by cap on Dec-06-2007 06:43:
