...I think this thread needs the Socks Pic

Posted by MeLLyMeL on Dec-13-2007 00:42:

Some ppl should refrain from hitting the "new thread" button.

Incase you didn't know maus. TA's make a very small percentage of club goers. The fact that you had to post a thread explaining yourself in the WRONG regional forum shows maybe.. just maybe.. they might have a point.

Was this neccesary? I think not. Your management is right

Congrats!!!

Oh and btw.. I think I saw more ppl complaining about how wack Pacha is as a club .. [Because it is wack.. Just moved to New York and Pacha is def one of the worst clubs I have ever been to my entire life!] Not really talking about you. [unless u took ppl's complaints about the club PERSONALLY]

What goes on behind the scenes should stay behind the scenes ;]

p.s. i don't know u or the promoter and an internet scuffle isn't going to change anyone's idea's on whether they should hit up a party or not.

the way I see it is.. deadmau5 was one of the cooler artists who actually took the time to talk to his fans and have some fun on these boards.. and now he cant do that anymore because people run their mouths. that sucks.

Maybe, I still think he can be on the forum (updates of gigs etc), just not to the extent he would've been before. Meh.

Hello next Dave Dresden...

Deadmau5, hope you learned a lesson: learn to curb your forum fights = keep your credibility. Doesn't matter who's right or wrong at this point, because going on like this in an entire thread made you sound extremely unprofessional.....

Seriously, both of them came off as children. It's not as though he needs to quit forums, he just shouldn't respond as immaturely to criticisms. I know Ryan's on here (and ignores most of what I'm talking about), but do you ever see Sean Tyas on TA responding to criticisms of his style of trance in the Music Discussion forum? No, you don't, and those are far more scathing. It's because he's not stupid.

It's too bad that deadmau5 can't take clues from the guy he's opening for here and be humble and grateful for his fans on TA. I've seen JZ respectfully disagree with someone, but I've never seen him come off as poorly as deadmau5 did in this thread. Taking it to his home turf on the TO forum to gather troops and support was definitely the low point. It reminded me of when this tool on TA took a disagreement with me to the GU boards. How insecure do you have to be that you need to go run for approval from your hometown boys?

umm sweety!

remember you when you started actively posting in the CORe. Everyone was running their mouths to you.. Why?.. because you were a noob!

Did you take it personal and did you explain yourself to every single person that posted something about you?

This site is brutal...

Dave Dresden.. wasn't steve angello the one that followed in his footsteps when The Drill was all hawt atm.. Markus Schulz. So many threads started by dj's that has turned into memorable dra-ma because this site is brutal. Everyone knows that. This isn't filled with hippies like the anjunabeats forum! Want nice ppl? .. go there.

I'm not going to now, nor did I ever sit and respond to ppl who talked shit about me on TA and I've had my fair share. It's stupid and lame and now I'm prob even friends with them.

Do not take this site seriously. PERIOD. Whoever the fuk you are! That is all.

What is done in private needs to be kept that way unless it's the CORe and you are having sex/bf/gf/masturbation issues

Steve Angello got upset because someone made fun of his shoes. Or something.

agreed. TA is a small community but what could happen is that this could spread with each person distorting "the story" along the way. Dresden, Tenaglia, now even Mau5 and I even remember some beauties between Max Graham and some TAs (though I give Graham kudos for handling it with maturity). Mau5 would have the most to lose here, imo.

I think many of us could see this coming..the mouse will go back to his hole and we will be less privy to some interesting dj insight because of how this tiff was handled between those two (online, no less..lolll).

lol. they own you or something?

anyways, you should still keep your fans updated on here with new gigs and music. makes you more personalable. just don't get involved in promoter stuff. that's the job of your management. they work for you.

Would you go against what your manager advises you?

I don't think so.

I don't wanna get fired.

I'm pretty sure they are more concerned with postings that will hurt his/their credibility and reputation.

This thread, and the other where he accused Adam K of creating a 'blatant rip-off of 'Faxing Berlin' with his production 'Twilight', are good examples of just that.
