Hey Lindsay!!

Nice, still can't believe I made the jump, there is advantages and disadvantages to it. I guess the medium is really besides the point as long as there's no auto bpming going on... Oh guess what, Ghost sold off his entire record collection... gone.

Congratulation to Taj for placing 6th on the SF DJ Dreamteam!! Pretty damn impressive considering that the SF Bay Area has the highest number of DJs per capita anywhere in the world and there were over 500 choices on the ballot! Looks like the house guys pulled through big time this year over last year... I came in 22nd, not nearly as cool, but still glad I made the top 30 list.

1 Miguel Migs
2 Mark Farina
3 David Harness
4 Kaskade
5 Bassnectar (Lorin)
6 Taj
7 Rooz
8 Adam Ohana (an-ten-nae)
9 Icon
10 Syd Gris
11 Dirtyhertz
12 Smoove
13 Mancub
14 M3
15 Dimitris Mykonos
16 Boreta
17 Julius Papp
18 Gabriel & Dresden
19 Andy Caldwell
20 Chebb I Sabah
21 Aaron Jae
22 Atimatik
23 Trevor Simpson
24 Kapt'n Kirk
25 Jeno
26 J Boogie
27 Shooey
28 Vahid
29 Motion Potion
30 edIT

And pretty much number one most versatile DJ in the top 10. Some interesting placements though. All in all not too skewed but I still think there should be more specific criteria for consideration in the voting for SF dreamteam.

Yeah I agree. Not sure exactly how I feel about this poll, but I think it's at least an indicator to a degree of which DJs are moving and shaking in the scene at a particular moment in time.

Atimatik always plays in the city doesn't he? (Don't you?) Am I correct or thinking of someone else? Peter always promotes your shows right. Although, never been because it's mostly Ruby skye as I recall. Don't know how or why but I think I was just listening to Jason Randolph last week. I haven't caught BB Hayes in a long time. Remember he used to do it for me. I feel like I'm kinda getting spoiled upstairs these days. Electro and Techno last few times I've been. Like it a lot better for dancing. well, I guess it's just nice to have a change.

Oh! reminds me. Rise Sunday morning everyone. 1028 Geary between Polk and Van Ness. Really bouncey house. Great dancing music. No EU this week. Save it for next week.

I should probably introduce myself here for all of you who have no idea who I am

So yeah, I moved to SF last year after spending the past 10 years in LA working full-time as a Dance Music Producer. I made a lot of records with different people, and my main-stay was remixing.

In 2003 I hooked up with Pete Tong and had a couple singles signed to Whoop! in London- then started working with Baroque as the result of an extended stay in the UK.

I maintain residence in London and LA, but these days loving SF I am mostly working on Originals now, with a few remixes still charting on BillBoard throughout the 2007.

Currently working on a couple remixes and originals with Steve Smith (from Dirty Vegas), and getting a bunch of music ready for release in 2008 I am planning a slew of releases- so get ready

Also in 2008 I will be picking up the DJing quite a bit, time to get out of the studio for real....

My sites:
www.jasonrandolph.com
www.myspace.com/jasonrandolph

Hope to meet many of you Jan 5th- I will be making a special tune for the night- for those of you that are familiam with my "at the end up" track

cheers
