hmm i guess they're blood thirsty, and i guess they're vampires because they burn in light, but that sounds like a really huge generalization which isn't entirely correct.

Maybe that's true but still. Vampires and Zombies are the most whored to death themes in horror movies. There's nothing even remotely orginal, interesting or scary about them. Some goes for serial killers.
