Nah CIA fights foreign enemies as well. Like when they overthrew the legitimate governments of Iran, and Guatemala.

Obviously they do other things with the drug money, but I was just pointing out that they do fight external enemies by depressing the economy and political system of small growing countries.

If I can remember correctly the USA is the only superpower and they have no nation on earth that can match it's military. I surely do believe that the CIA is using this money as a war on it's own internal enemies than foreign enemies. |

I agree with that.

The money is used to pay off traind assassins and other officials who *have to look the other way. *Who would have to look into the crime.* |

| Originally posted by guerra-monstru Really I don't know. The American people are so pacified that they wouldn't really need so much money to kill threats. I am thinking more along the lines that if the government has botched a top-secret experiment that has hurt unwilling participants or that the mess they created they would need the money to clean up the mess and hide it. Also any scientist that might cause trouble by exposing some of the truths the government works so hard to hide. |
it's just too much money, too much.
and money&power usually come along
