I dont mind it when djs do rock music remix such as the killers/kean/redhot chilli pepers, but remixing pop music and r&b is kinda wrong! it become so fucking cheese shit.

Unfortunately to seek greater justification for their own high opinion of themselves, as mainstream, big name DJs will continue to churn out remixes for the big labels.

p.s. I hate this remix. Well... Edit. What exactly was changed? A 4/4 bassline was introduced. I don't hear much else. Its a big shame, cos the other recent remixes were great. Seal - The Right Life (Tiesto Remix) is a bomb. This is just radio fodder.

You've completely missed my point. And the difference between me and you remains the same: You are a fan boy, and I am not. Why do I say this? Because at the first sign of criticism against Tiesto you feel you need to throw the fact that I am a 'fan' of Paul van Dyk in my face.

Is that really your defence? Is the mentioning of Paul van Dyk really supposed to 'get one over' on me? I can't think of a single member on this board who is a bigger critique of Paul van Dyk than myself, so I fail to see the relevance of anything you've posted. I am objective, you are massively subjective.

And so it remains, why even bother to mention Paul van Dyk in a thread about DJ Tiesto and Britney Spears?

wow! i haven't liked anything by tisto in quite a while (in the last 3 years at least i think) but no way have his productions been as bad as that piece of shit gimme more.
that was seriously bad, even for britney. the worst britney track i've heard.

a remix is a remix, doesnt matter what it is a remix of, all that counts is how the remix actually sounds.

+1, but unfortunately its not a very good remix, i think its pretty boring, DESPITE the fact that its stuck in my head now

Posted by HYPA29 on Jan-02-2008 02:02:

who cares that its a britney remix, if it would be Jennifer Rene's voice everyone would post that its a great track but its because Spears it has to suck and tiesto sold out again...armin is the king wtf people just chill and relax. dont like it then just move on. I think its an ok track. You want electronic music more recognized then just have to put up with these tracks. At least Tiesto is doing something for the scene.

Posted by Lebezniatnikov on Jan-02-2008 02:06:

I really like the original. A lot actually.

Can you elaborate?

Posted by HaeD on Jan-02-2008 11:55:

I really like what tiesto as done in the recent past year. And his myspace is actually one of the few that i actually let open and listened to the whole 4 song and i tough they were all decent to really good. I feel like he is putting more or less effort into being simply tiesto.

Posted by LJPaddock on Jan-02-2008 14:28:

where can i hear his remix of seal?

Posted by Gauss on Jan-02-2008 14:54:

Here's something appropriate... Clearly lol of the day.

quote:
Tistos career is punctuated by landmark achievements the first DJ in the world to sell out a solo stadium event for over 25,000 people 2 nights in a row, he scored a number one hit with his single Traffic, the first instrumental track to reach the top spot in his homeland of Holland in 23 years. His remix of Delerium featuring Sarah McLachlans Silence was the first house track ever broadcast on daytime radio in North America, (it became an international dancefloor anthem and also spent eight weeks in the UK top 10 chart). He played live in front of billions of people during the Parade of the Athletes at the official opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Athens. But despite his meteoric success, Tisto remains grounded about his achievements and clearly loves making and playing music above the accolades it brings.

I heard the original for the first time last night on the radio and I must say I absolutely love it.

Posted by hkaliher on Jan-02-2008 18:57:
