I was supposed to go downtown with my friend, but he cut it and decided to go on his own only, with the excuse that I "might not like it anyways", so I just stayed home with my folks. Happy New Year to you Diginut! I hope this next year will be better too...

(h.n.y. to everyone else too, of course...enjoy )

I ended up going to Nathan Phillips Square and boy if you ever want to see humans being animals that's the place to be on NYE. It was pure chaos. Fights broke out, people pushing and shoving, screaming. It was like watching monkeys in a cage going apeshit. Not fun nor for the feint-hearted.

I was very quickly reminded why I avoided heading into town on NYE for the past decade in Sydney. Same insanity, different city.

Stay at home and watch Degrassi TNG or something next year for me lol.

Happy New Year bitches!

I guess then I don't have to feel bad about not going... although I was quite sorry & sad about it. Staying home and watching "Lilies of the Field" from 1963 post midnight, together with my step-father, was probably better...
