There just hasn't been much buzz over one of the world's top djs coming to town. I could be the only one here to say PvD will be better than Underworld though. |

So you thank your lucky stars for what UNDERWORLD did for the EDM, but since you are a noob at dance music I don't expect you to know the true history. I mean come on HOW MANY deejays have remixed some Underworld track? Think long and hard about that and get back to me. IMO PVD is great and all. I have gone to NYC, Miami, and here numerous times to see him. but HE can't EVEN compare to what Underworld has done. He can't even compare to the SHOW that Underworld gives. So I have attached some reading material for you to read up on Underworld. |
i would suggest you go to underworld, because in all my years of clubbing (1999) i haven't seen a better live performance out of ANYONE! they will make you dance your ass off
Only 400 PVD tickets remain before it is sold out!

I have a quick question about Opera. I see various people walking up and down those stairs to the dj booth and was wondering what exactly do you have to do to get up those stairs? I'm assuming it's not for everyone, so what do you have to do to get up there, is there a guest list or something? And if so, what do I have to do to get on that list?
It's VIP access and it costs extra on the door cover. Like for Benny Benassi tonight we sold $50 VIP tickets and that lets you cut the line and gives you access to the Upstairs area.
We might be doing the same thing for PVD but it needs to be run by the club today but the VIP tickets for PVD will be a lot more then $50.
Well, I already bought a regular ticket, so does that mean it's too late for me to get vip or can I pay extra at the door? Either way, I probably won't do it if it's going to be more than 20 or so dollars extra. Thanks for the info.
What time will PVD spin till?
UPDATE: Opera sucks.

I drove with a friend to DC one Thanksgiving for a massive rave at the Armoury with PVD in it. In the late 90s, PvD had a bi-monthly residency at Twilo where he would play at least six hours, which I never missed. For his residency anniversary one year he played ten hours. I use to joke to my friends I probably made PvD enough money to pay for one of his synths. Them were the days... Too bad PvD and me lost our edge. |

I forget, why do you guys hate opera so much?
The sound system needs epic work. The lack of space (due to the balcony being VIP only) makes for a very nice sardine can, and the crowd is a bunch of ATL style guidos.
Regardless, I'll be there.
we are close to being sold out! Get your tickets before they are gone!!!!!
Gonna see him in Miami at Space and Ultra so i think im going to sit this one out, have fun ya'll
is opera the same place as liquified 1150? havent been to atlanta in a long time. 1150 was tiny though no room to dance. the pictures on their website looks like the same place and the adress is the same i beleive.
One Love
That's the place
I'm ready for Thursday night! My only concern is that he won't be able to top last years show at the Tabernacle, but I know he'll be great either way. I imagine he'll be playing a lot of stuff from In Between since it's the In Between tour? And by the way, all you Opera haters, it's really not a bad place. At least it has that awesome fog machine.
