I'm from the Pacific Northwest and I don't particularly recommend it for clubbing purposes. We are nice and Portland has a little big city feel but you'll have to haul yourself to Vancouver/Seattle for parties and their scene isn't like NYC where we get someone good almost every weekend. NW is a great place to raise a family though and there are a lot of East Europeans although mostly Russian. People in general are nice, whenever I fly back home I'm surprised by how pleasant people are there compared to Manhattan.
I hear good things about Denver too...
If you want to marry some nice Polish girl why don't you find an Americanized one at church? Getting one fresh off the boat might seem good at first but she might be too old fashioned...what you really need is a maid/cook not wife.
Dont move to Ireland
