I'm coming out of the woodwork - it's been many months since I've been on here, and even longer since I've been to a show.
I will be there w/ my GF

Thanks for the recommendation. The set is excellent. I really enjoyed Markus Schulz Featuring Dauby - Perfect (Agnelli & Nelson Remix). The crowd is so into it. It really pumped me up.
Oh there is no doubting Schulz. He's a master. And I love GDJB, it is the best weekly show...well actually I'm a big TATW fan too, but even so.
I changed my avatar. Maybe somebody can recognize me there. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to make it. We shall see. I'll post updates with my stance whenever I have them
He used to be one of my favorite djs before 07. Last year and on he's my the favorite dj among the progressive trance djs, period! He really came to his own last year. He just got darker, techier and groovier. I just love it!
My new theme song, taken from Markus's Vancouver set: Tiesto - Driving to Heaven (Mat Zo Remix).

He was good, but nothing special. It was def. morea trance set. He came out lil early around 12:20 and started banging it out, first 1.5 hours was my fav. It was just banging progressive, wow. I was txting my friend this is how you rock with progressive. Overall, he dropped all the usual, latest shit everybody plays and most of his songs. Cant believe he still plays year zero after all this time. That was all I need to hear. I wasnt sure if hell play but he did and you could tell by the crowd, obviously the huge fan favorite when u hear that note/voice drop and bassline kicks in. It was the andy moors remix. Rest of sets were predictable, I hear one song and Im like ok hes gonna play this next and next thing u know he sure does. It was very main stream stuff. I must say I never seen a club that packed in a long time, hes certainly a super star now, this is 6th time that I saw him and every time I see him the crowd increases exponentially. Somebody said if armin was 100% packed he was 95% packed so it was packed and ppl stayed until the end and chanting and going nuts all night. Hell break top 10 dj this year. His popularity is amazing. He never slowed down. The sound system at Ibiza was unreal and the laser was only turned on twice (perspective space and falling I think toward the end). I thought that was weak, I love lasers and they hardly used it. Wtf. The sound was too good. I love that most. The club was too bright, everything was lit blue and you could see everything why? Turn it off. Its like that every time. All the lights are on. We were joking that we should bring sunscreen and shade with lawn chair and get sun tan at Ibiza cuz its sunny over there. Hahaa. Didnt see any fights or trouble so that was good. It was good I thought but Id prefer his older stuff (like 2005 or before), Im just burned out from all the trance, I heard all these songs every day every week and Im like good god, play some of your stuff, your sound, sound that youre known for. Anyway, for 3 hours, it was pretty good, I was tired after 45 mins Well worth the wait, he came down (of course) at the end and finally took a pic with him. Hes so nice, hes like thank you guys and all that stuff. I wonder if I could bring CDs in there and get it signed next time. That would be fantastic. Get every single of my CDs signed. Hahahaha. Hes such a nice guy no other dj in the world would do that at the end. He comes down with a Sharpie as usual and start sign away and talk to you for a long time until the end. More djs should do that. They came to see you, you should come and see them at least.
Wow...has it been about 48 hours ago when I was having a great time @ Ibiza Nightclub? It was really an excellent night for me! I had not seen Markus Schulz since his set @ GLOW (FUR) last June. Markus Schulz was every bit as phenomenal as when I saw him at the Armada All Night party in Miami last March!
This past Saturday was the first time back @ GLOW since seeing Gabriel & Dresden in September. By the time I made it to Ibiza, it was 11:50 pm. I was inside the club about 10 minutes later. When I walked into the main room, Dan Sampson was spinning a wicked set! It was awesome when he dropped Robbie Rivera - Funkatron! Very soon after, I walked up to the bar, caught up with the lovely Melissa, and started off with my first Belvedere on the rocks.
Markus Schulz took over the decks before 12:30 am and proceeded to amaze! I don't remember seeing Markus (asides from Armada All Night party in Miami last March) so fired up! I was screaming like mad when Markus dropped Cause You Know! Not too long after, Markus followed up with the Genix remix of Fly To Colours! That was awesome! Markus Schulz was up on the decks having a great time! His excellent mood was contagious! Hearing Markus also drop I Am definitely kept me happy! Markus Schulz ran the gamut from progressive trance all through to tech-trancey sounds...his set was insane! I was absolutely blown away when Markus dropped Cosmic Gate - Body Of Conflict and followed it up with Randy Katana - Tribal Train! That was...SICK! I couldn't have been happier! For about 3 hours...Markus Schulz was the awesomeness!
Last but not least...I also appreciate the fact that Markus Schulz came out to the main room after his set for autographs and pictures!
All in all...this night was the most fun I ever had @ GLOW since its move to Ibiza! Enjoying an excellent set from Markus Schulz and enjoying the company of a few friends made for an unforgettable night! I look forward to seeing Markus Schulz back in DC soon!

I had a blast. I'm glad that Glow has moved venues. Ibiza seems to be a great club - it def had a good vibe. The sound system was great. I agree that the ambiet lighting is a little on the bright side, and they should have used the lasers more, but oh well... My GF and I got to finish the night (and the set) standing right behind Markus - always fun to watch him work.
Track of the night for me - Tiesto - Driving To Heaven (Mat Zo remix)
