Ian, checkers are black and red here. I've never seen the white and black ones.

i have 2 sets. one is white & black, the other is a more posh version me & my brother got for xmas when we were younger & has our name engraved on the board side, and it's cream & brown. I have seen black & red before though, just never played with them

Eh. Fischer was an anti-Semite (as in someone who wants Jews killed / imprisoned / deported) conspiracy-theorist nutjob who thought that the 9/11 attacks were something to celebrate. His only redeeming quality that I know of: he played some great chess games.
