What list do I say I'm on at the door?

Question for everybody: Is there usually street parking available around the place?

Might take you a while but I've never gone there and not found parking. It IS a saturday night... just watch where you park.

I'll definately be there, a much needed break from my LSAT work...

dude....you destroyed the effectiveness of your marginally witty comment. you can't be apologetic when making those comments.

Coreevents guestlist.

As for parking, it can be a bit hard if you get there late. I usually park on Waverly PL which is the corss street of McDougal. Sometimes there are signs posted saying that your car can be towed in the morning because they're doing work there, but most of the time you'll be ok. Just check for posted signs. If you can't find parking on that street, you'll have to circle around the Square to find parking on the sides of it. You can't park on 8th AVE because it's prohibited after 10 or 11PM I believe.

If you want to park on Waverly (best choice if you get to the club early), you'll have to drive around the club on 8th AVE and make 2 rights. You'll then be on Waverly. Depending where you're coming from of course.

bad move dude, the test is in 2 weeks.....study, don't go out. You get one shot at making a good impression with the LSAT, don't destroy it. Sure some schools say they accept the higher score, but when your 164 is a second try, and another person has a 164 on the first try, the choice is easy.

Thanks Mike. I was thinking of getting there around 10:30 or so. Would you suggest getting there a little earlier?

Thats exactly why I'm going out tonight - I've decided to take my entire LSAT princeton review class over again, and take the exam in June/July whenever it is. I'm banking for a 170+... it's a long shot, but I think I can pull it off. You taking the test too?

been there, done that....already graduated law school. in fact, i'm 25% done with my LLM in tax.

smart move though bro. good to see you haven't underestimated the value of the LSAT. Hope you can get the 170, but it's really difficult. The difference between a 170 and 180 is marginal, like 3 or 4 more questions correct. if you actually do get the 170 your ticket is stamped for the rest of your life (so long as your 170 isn't an aberration). good luck.

15 at door....who cares about guestlist! as for parking, try university if all else fails. university is two blocks east of macdougal (on the northside of the park), four blocks east on the south side of the park.

Thanks man, appreciate it. Yeah, I'm probably one of the few people who is choosing law school because it's something I know I'll enjoy, not simply because it pays the bucks. And I do well enough now that I'm not in a need to rush. As I see it, if I'm going to be accumulating some HEAVY debts (unless I go p/t, and work) I might as well make it as worthwhile as I can. I'm not lazy, but I'm not looking to rush things either...

So you're getting your LLM as well as your JD? I didn't know that one could do that, I was under the impression that having a JD was almost like having an LLM. What persuaded you?
