i seem to have fixed it with the help of ummie (hope i got the name right)

so let me get this, if i have email notification off only from the options on cp it wont work? i have to turn it off on my threads that i make individually? and i also have to unsubscribe to threads also in order to avoid getting emails?

Actually, if you have "e-mail notification" off, you shouldn't receive any e-mail at all, I guess.
