There's fucking nedved plays for Juventus who's 35, Del piero, 33 all guns players...look at Henry playing for Barcelona 30....age seems to be no barrier to performance and competitiveness in some players.

if it were AFL...28's retirement???

Everyone has an opinion mate - deal with it. not everyone is going to agree with the players you think are superior. ive always preffered gerrard because I believe he does alot more and brings alot more to a game of football then just scoring goals. He is such a gun defender and controls game with possession. If you want to go by "stats" on how a central midfielder has performed over the last 5 years then so be it. I hope these stats show you tackles, possesion and not just how many goals because we all know lampard plays more attacking than gerrard.

at the end of the day i dont really care coz i dont follow either teams but each to their own.

Mate, seriously, I'm not on here to have a playground shit fight...I acknowledge that Chelsea aint the best but fuck to be set back by losing their manager early in the season, players plagued savagely by injury, lose their gun midfield support and striker to African cup and to top it all off, they have had to produce a result that equals jose is a huge effort.

No other team except for Newcastle just recently, has lost their manager at any point of this season, that's a huge setback for any team.

nah far from being upset, I follow this daily mate, so I know how things are from my perspective. I always listen to others that have researched equally and know their shit. Heck my mate who loves man u reckons they might get knocked out as its been unpredictable this year.
