I think it might be good to introduce it by saying something along the lines of:

"In the book of Genesis, chapter 11 of the bible, the passage tells a story of the Tower of Babel blahdy blahdy blah."

It really depends on how it will be worded. Story can be used in certain ways, text/passage/scripture can be used in other contexts, and myth, allegory and tale are best not used at all.

True. I think "Biblical Passage" is the best possible choice

(Scriptures is a good word, also, but here in Brazil it sounds like something only a preacher would say)
