waheeeeeey
Come to think of it (leaving early I mean)...
We have to be on the truck around 2 pm.....let's say we ewant to be a little early and arrive 1 pm.....that means we can sleep till 12-ish...sooooooo.....we could just stay till later (not 8..that's too much..too late
)....maybe 6-ish?
Would be cool
We're planning to have a MASSIVE sleep on thursday and most of Friday
That way, we'll be well and truly up for it. It doesn't always work, but it certainly helps.
I've been searching the net, and that techno.de site, but it's very hard when you don't speak German. My mate is coming over later today, and he can speak a little. He should at least be able to read the dates!
I think Love from Above will be the best party on, but being the Love Parade eve everywhere should be throwing a party.
It looks pretty much like we'll be going to Love from Above, but if there is anywhere on for an hour or two longer, we might check it out instead, cos I'd rather be in a club than wandering the streets of Berlin in the morning when everything's shut. Even if I am tired, at least you have the option to go mental to techno/trance
Last year Love from Above was on from 11pm-9am I think. Are there any pubs that play trance/techno in Berlin, so we can go there before Love from Above?
Hey I've just thought. You know how at trance clubs strangers always have conversations, make jokes, talk to you about the music, ask the time, share water or whatever.
What the fuck am I going to do when some guy starts mumbling in German to me and laughs or something.
Shall I just smile and nod and hope he wasn't asking a question
just tell m u don't speak german
jeah i think Berlin is a very "open" town. Its not so that every German there will laugh at you when they see u dont speak German. About 90% of the young people can speak "okay" Englisch (just like me) and would try to make a conservation in your language. Especially during the Loveparade there are many foreign people in the town.
Just relax and have a good time

heh, well whoever does speak English probably still won't understand my accent. People in the South of England sometimes don't understand me. I'll have to try and speak normally for the duration of the holiday
Me and my mate have decided to only stay in Berlin for about a week. I've decided to save the rest of my money on saving for decks and going to Global Gathering.
We figured that if we rush, we can visit a lot of Berlin's sights during the daytime, and we can still have 6 or 7 nights out on the lash and visit a good few clubs in that time. We'll probabaly arrive on around the 10th, and leave on about the 18th (my mate turns 17 on the 17th, so we'll most likely celebrate his birthday in Berlin). I don't expect Berlin's nightlife will be brilliant on a Wednesday night, will it? I know that Newcastle isn't, but the Playrooms nightclub do 10p a bottle on Wednesdays
Check out this after-party on the 13th. What a lineup!

Why is it called Love Airport? And does anyone know what time this finishes?
Technically it's not an after-party, since a club would open at that time on a Saturday anyway, so do you reckon there'll be parties all day on the Sunday? Cos if there's so many people in the city, they might as well, it's not like they'll have trouble filling them.
Civic!!!! Please be there!!!!
I wanna meet u this time

I think its called Love Airport because of "Love Parade"
Can we do a list of the 'definites' and the 'maybes' for this meetup, to get an idea of how many people are going?

Originally posted by evil_bastard The night I listed is on the 13th, so it doesn't clash with Love from Above. Although, PVD will probably be somewhere on the 13th too. It's the Airport bit that startled me. Is this at an airport or something?!?
Afterparty:
Lovestern Galaktika in the Messe Halle at the edge of Berlin's city. This is the most populair Love Parade afterparty with around 10.000 visitors. The temporary line-up for now includes Marusha, DJ Sammy, Kai Tracid, Phil Fuldner and ATB, but many more big names wil be revealed at a later date!
The entrance for the Grand Opening party on friuday Juli 12 (20.00 till saturday 12.00!!!) is around 20 and you pay around 30 for the Love Parade Afterparty at saturday Juli 13 (20.00 till sunday 08.00 uur).
website = http://www.galaktika.de/flash5.html but it's in German AGAIN I think

Originally posted by Civic I think the Deal is just that he doesnt play at any Club on Saturdays. On the Loveparade he will be (of course with the Vandit Truck) and i think he will also play at the "Siegessule"

Is the pre party from 10pm Friday until 12 NOON on Saturday???? I hope so, that's just when the LP starts!
I think the Love Airport looks an awesome after-party! heh, 36 hours of non-stop partying, maybe more! Sounds like a jolly good larf
If Paul van Dyk is playing for about 8 hours at Love for Above, isn't that enough? He's good but there are other DJs!
I'm already gathering much party info
Will put what I got on my site on sunday

Aye thanks JP, I think your site'll be the only one detailing events in English
The official Love Parade site is crap. The first page is translated to English, but as soon as you click a link it goes back to German.
