oh ok, I checked the news at 7 am and all these other unis were named but not U of T or York. That's pretty messed up.

Looked outside my window and didn't seem much snow on the ground but my housemate tells me there's actually lots

Usually one school closing every 2 yrs or so... Last one there was hardly any snow. Someone flinched big time on that one.

Guelph is closed now too, but I still had trek my ass into work today. Damn financial market!!!! But as some of you have said the drive was not half as bad as I thought it would be. Mind you the afternoon drive is still to come.....

Last storm, people left early with their managers' support to avoid the traffic. Guess what.... employees of ALL COMPANIES left early, making a 2pm drive more hazardous than any other time.

I left at 5pm and I breezed home.

ITs coming down thick and damp over here. already got 10 cm....plus at least another 3-4 in the last hour while ive been shoveling.

DAMMIT!!! there is no end in sight either. At least there isn't any freezing rain in my area.

Silver lining is watching Tank (my puppy) go silly banans in all the snow as I shovel it. It is hard to be cranky while he's around.

My Little Fluffas (a persian kitty) is not too fond of the snow himself.

He always gets somewhat peeved when i pick him up and just fling up into the very middle of our yard where the snow is soft and deep. He has to bound all the way back to the driveway. hahah

But he still stays all attention-y and comes back to me wanted to be petted again to makes himself happier.

Aww, i just love my little fluffas. Tai is such a good boy!

The scene outside my house has been breathtaking all day. If I wasn't fresh out of surgery I would definitely be out shredding with a few of my friends today. As long as it stays cold enough I should be able to get in one more day of boarding in a few weeks after I've healed.
