TA without drama is like a hot dog without mustard....it would lack real flavour.
Real drama is better than fake PLUR anyways.

| Originally posted by jennypie To be honest, I don't even consider TAs my friends, outside of the few real friendships I've made here. I mean, sure, we're friends in the sense that we're peers...but not in the true sense of what it means to be a friend. I'm with Yohan, I don't just throw the word around. |
oh that's it you're all off my facebook now bitches

ppl take message boards wayyyy too seriously
The only bad thing TA has done to me is made me hate trance
i find the TA community to be very very interesting.
i have been a very active member on this site for many years now. (OMG, 6 and a half years, jeeezuz!). believe it or not there was a time that it was possible to know EVERYONE that posted here in TOTA. and we actually made it a point to meet everyone.
now there are so many people that it would be very difficult (impossible) to know everyone and actually give them the time of day it takes to actually get to know them and judge their character in person (which was what we used to do). now you make judgements based on posts and based on who they associate with on the site. not only that but posts have to stand out to even remember the name.
it's also funny how people join the group in different ways. it really is great obersevational experiment.

The more you get to know the people posting on TA in real life, the more *you* your posts become. When you're new and don't know anyone, what you seem like on the forums and what you're like in real life differs significantly.
Then again it differs on the person too. Regardless of whatever verbal tussles I get into on the forums, I made myself a strict rule to never bring that beef into the clubs.

People that know me on TA and those who I usually talk with on msn on a regular basis will tell you Im tottaly different from my online personality. On the other hand yes we do see some people who go way out of hand on a regular basis to start drama or annoy everyone unless you're talking about those...... |

| Originally posted by StereoPrincess oh, lol. i think you misunderstood my point. i don't mean that you have to be serious and watch what you say and only contribute to serious discussion just to impress everyone at all time. fuck, half the time i am posting is just to make my self laugh, lol. you can deny judging people based on there posts because this is internet, blah blah blah. but what other option do we have? there is like 600 people here (or more) if i were to meet everyone everynight, all i can go by is what i read because that's where i would spend most of my time seeing what they have to say. when i go to a club, i talk to over 200 people, do you really think that i can make a better judgement based on a hello and name introduction in a loud club? you might as well face it, everyone here judges you. lol. but don't worry dude, you're cool. |
I totally see what you mean by meeting and getting to know 600+ people and loud clubs part of it.....Fair enough.
