Had a good time, was quiet to start (thinner crowd) but by about 12:30/1 Jon had it absolutely rockin with peoples hands in the air, worked well then slowed it down a bit for Max to come on. I hate boring warm ups that go well into the evening/morning, it's almost 1am, lets get this going already (within reason, I've seen over the top 'warm ups' ruin the rest of my evening), it's hard to do, well done!
I'm so pissed off that I didn't get to check this out
I saw Max Graham @ the Bell Centre for NYE in 06... amazing set but haven't seen him since!
Jon Jon - I haven't had a chance to see... I've heard great things about him though.
@ TA who went this party
did max played Lustral - In My Life (Matzo Remix)?
thanx a lot
I have been really busy this week so I haven't had a chance to post.
So I arrived to Footy around 11:30pm enjoyed the groovy opening set. I actually forget who that was. Then Jon Jon came on and played some solid tunes. This was only my second time hearing/seeing him play. I must say Jon you have great taste and a very large variety. The tunes were ripping from the beginning till the end of your set. Good Job!
Max came on and played a sick set.. I already expected that. Ill agree with Peter that he kind of lost me at the end. It was a bit mellow.. but all in all it was a well rounded set.
p.s. I may be changing my name to toronto_ta soon lol

Whoa sorry about the delay...
FUN NIGHT! As I mentioned previously just getting to see Jon Jon on a Max Graham poster blew my mind- this was a HUGE deal. Congrats friend- well deserved.
My fav tune of the night was by far "Stand By Me" WTF. Only Jon would play that, and only he would smile and nod his head as if to say "Yes I am playing this doozie and yes you are surprised that you are loving it" hahaha awesome.
Jon Jon's sound and song selection has grown to be very distinctive and unique- such fun creative choices. I didnt last much into Max's set as I had a very long week and my energy faded much quicker than expected. However, I had a blast and I heard Max delivered as he always does.
Lovely to see everyone as always- although the last few great times ive had at Footwork it has been much brighter in there. I found it really dark on Saturday. I couldnt jam as well in the dark...
