You can't tell a friend.. Hey, I think you should go to rehab.

1st step in AA is acknowledging that you have a problem. No one ever told me anything. I just realized that maybe once in a while won't be so bad instead of 3x a week! [All on my own ty]

I've seen how ppl react why you try and mention that they have a problem. It's not worth it. It's just a waste of time.

yeah im normally of the same thought. my buddy was getting so fucking off his rocker mentally. it was so hard to hang out with him. it just got to a point he hit rock bottom. since then he went to rehab, is clean, and isnt even touching the stuff anymore. he got into an accident while he was high as a kite on the stuff and he doesnt even remember it. pretty crazy if you ask me.

doesn't sound that their too bad actually, and they have to want to quit the lifestyle. Theres not alot u can do to sway them, and like what someone else said, when they hit bottom, they will quit, as it usually changed the person.

I think my friend might need rehab, but for injecting ocs... It really makes me sad. We are talking between friends and if we think it is get bad (again) we are gonna do something about it. Whether that means calling his parents, rehab.. I dont know but it sucks.

I'm all for some good clean recreational drug abuse, but honestly man, if you have reached the point where you are regularly IVing any drug it is already bad. I had to end a friendship with my best friend since high school who I had known for 13 years because of his IV use of OCs. It eventually led to him making some really poor decisions that cost him 4+ years in the legal system and a year in jail plus multiple felonies on his record for life. He never would have even contemplated doing the stuff that landed him in legal trouble before he started IVing, he became a completely different person.

When destructive behavior has little financial or social consequence, it will abound.

I know this kid is like a brother to me I love this kid, it sucks cause he lives in Orlando where I use to be so I don't see the shit he is doing.I know he is lying to me about doing them which sucks to begin with. If you have to lie to someone about doing something its an obvious problem. He's already gotten some rehab when his parents found out but it was more like a slap on the wrist. My friend that was just visiting him says its his gf who is the problem since she has been addicted to shooting up for years now.

^ lol, coldblooded.

But yea, gotta agree with all the "rock bottom" sentiments. You can give youre opinion... you can educate (really... "self-medicating" depression with E and Dopamine draining pharms!!!)... and you can flat out refuse to see them. I mean, it's either that or drag them kicking and screaming.

I feel your pain, cause it's a really tough lesson to learn that, no matter how much you care for someone, you cant change them.

i never do drugs at home... perhaps a joint now and then.. many weekends i just drink when im out, or even stay at home.. but on other weekends i go full out.. the problem is that many people just see me when i party hardy, and presume that i do it all the time, when im actually much more calm than what i have been known to be.. summer vacations and such doesnt count, you know.. :P

bleh... too tired to think lol.. good night

That fucking sucks man, sounds like an exact replay of my friend minus his parents sending him to rehab. My friend's parents were clueless until he got arrested the first time.
