Looks like WMC is filling up well at the last minute. Both the kingdom and this announced recently. Thought i wasnt going to be able to fill my days up. Only day now that needs work for me is tuesday. Everything else is looking good!

Somewhat off topic but looks like no night tennis this year. No word on that at all.

Not sure about presales yet, ive been getting a lot of inquiries but i dont see them on Wanttickets or Groovetickets... If and when they are updated i will post.

on "The List" through the official WMC webpage it shows this as a private event...hrmm...

Invite parties are usually free, are they not? Or this was never classified as an invite only party?

according to the list, its an invite only event so it'll be interesting to see us all show up and what will actually happen. can't imagine why it'd be private/invite only.

its not that uncommon.... last year we went to a private party for Dubfire at Mynt that had an open bar for a couple of hours. at $12-$14 a drink that was a nice one

Bullitt Bookings (who manage Deep Dish and others) also had a private party at Set or Suite or somewhere like that.

this year Tommy Boy is having a private party that Wed evening with Bob Sinclar and Danny Tengalia...and we already know about the PVD/Oakie private event at Nikki.

and there are the Scion events at the Raleigh which are all invite-only.

since Kenneth posted in this thread, why don't you send him a PM and ask to get on the list and see what he says? wouldn't hurt.

I had presale tickets. Got to the Gaansevoort shortly after 10. (Fairly early I am thinking). Couldn't get in. Nobody at the door believed that my tickets were real. Security at the event took a photo copy of my ticket receipt. The only people that they were letting in were people that had tables. They were going for $5,000 each! I don't think that I have seen that much plastic surgery in one place before. I was certainly not happy but fortunately (or not) my brother convinced me to leave before I had a chance to make much of a scene.

At this point we weren't sure where to go. My brother remembered that Infected Mushroom was playing at Chakra but neither of us knew where it was. Found a garbage can full of flyers and after a little digging found the flyer, got the address and went.

At the party, no lines, no waiting, no nose jobs, no bullshit, just music. Infected played a good set. I had a better time there then I think I could have seeing Oakenfold anyway.

Not sure what happened with the tickets or why they thought they were fake. I was going to ask at the wanttickets store today but they had enough trouble just handing out tickets. I guess I will send out an email or something later.
