Originally posted by Echo of Silence I'm recording vocals for Ory and omg, when I listen to the .wav before I send it, I sound like a little kid. AND I don't say "w" correctly. ffs, my "w" sounds like "v" but when I listen to myself talking (versus on the recording) my "w" don't sound at all like "v." It's so funny. I'm trying to sound sexy and seriously, I sound so young. I even lisp a bit. This is a joke.
I would record something but I dunno what to say really lol.
I know I miss out the 't's on bottle and so on. But really I change depending on who I'm speaking to and so on.

"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance. Choose fixed-interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a three-piece suite on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked-upbrats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life. But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And thereasons? There are no reasons."

Originally posted by Echo of Silence I am from midjylland or jutland, between Herning and Viborg. I don't bite my lower lip but my teeth contact my lower lip when I say v and also sometimes when I'm lazy on the w. I guess that's what makes my w sound like v, isn't it? I never thought about that before.

Originally posted by Echo of Silence Do you really want a sample? Someone should write something long for each of us to read, record, and upload. So we can listen to each other. That would be cool, maybe. edit: I just now am reading Lira's post above...lol way above...I think I sat on this reply window for a long time...
