That sounds like a pretty valid comparison actually

fart bikes are shit and they are annoying, the people that drive them are also deaf

One of the guys I know has a seriously old one. Like 1914, belt driven.

The lights look like the sort miners have, like brass ones.

I find absolutely zero appeal in motorcycles. Probably less than zero, actually.

i want to ride sports type motorcycle, but I know i never will. Chances of getting into an accident on a motorcycle are 2:1.

i have a bunch of friends who are of the same thought.

Lets get one thing straight, choppers were called choppers because people would chop as much as they could off the bike to make them go faster. Now day's chopper's are bastardized bling cycle's that are are more about looking pretty than about actual fuction. I would rather ride a bike that drives great, than a bike that looks great.

I'd like one if it could be silenced. Maybe if they come out with a hybrid model or something.

It's called a mufler, people like to take them off and put louder pipes on. It's lame if you ask me.

It actually serves a purpose.

Ever heard the term, "Loud pipes save lives."?
or
"Start seeing motorcyclists."?

People have a tendency to not see motorcyclists. The loud pipes make sure they know that there's one around.

+1

yet i design websites for motorcycle dealers. go figure.

i can appreciate the aesthetics of some (BMW, Aprilia, Ducati, Benelli, Bimota, etc... i think naked street bikes look so sexy) just because of how well-designed they are, but i'd never want myself or anyone close to me to own one.

I don't really like choppers, my father has a HD electro glide and I much prefer that style of bike to the choppers, they in my opinion look better and ride much nicer. For me though, While I can appreciate Harley's, I even like their sound, when you have a bunch of them starting up next to your the sound is better than the bass is most clubs, I just think the Triumph Daytona and other larger bikes with full fairings are more my style.
