Im thinking that in order to pay for this, we will borrow money from china, then when given to us, we will most likely buy things that are made in china. Just bite the bullet and invest the money in infrastructure rather then trying to get the quick fix for popularity.

who's economy are we trying to stimulate here?

Nothing is certain except death & taxes. We've been taxed before we were even born. Now, if they give us something just take it, say thank you and don't ask questions.
Smart tax payers know how to maximize their returns, keep their fed withheld#2 and state withheld#17 on W2 to the minimum because thats our money the gov. is borrowing and they will not pay you interest.
1099 is a dif. story.
If we owe, they'll ask where's their interest.
I work in an office with 4 people serving bout 3000 client per season.
I dunno much about tax, just know a little about punchn numbers.

umm...

you should at the very least know this: taxes are unpopular, but very necessary to cover expenditures as they are incurred. otherwise when the government spends money it doesn't have, it has to borrow it from the central bank who issues it by printing more cash. when the money supply increases in such a way, it inflates the value of the currency and inflation in itself is a form of taxation on everyone that holds money. rich people prefer this form of taxation because it's like a flat tax that barely dings their wallet. if you don't like losing real income then tell your government to stop spending money on stupid shit like elective wars and $600 handouts.

all this money is doing is putting the country in further debt by spending money it doesnt have and thus decreasing the value of the money that we do have. Meanwhile increasing the costs of all that we spend our money on. I would rather they invest the money into our infrastructure setting us up for future economic stimulation as opposed to a $600 check that will hardly pay my car payment.

The country is following the path of various other super powers like the romans and soviets in bankrupting itself. Which is pretty much the only thing that can take this country down.
