So like I said. Smoking doesn't make you stupid and lazy. As to it being detrimental to young people well I guess you're talking about pre teens because I smoked all through my teenage years and still graduated 2nd in my High School class.

Don't assume that just because you need to be told by an authority figure what to do and how to live your life that the same is true for others.

I really don't see the need to justify marijuana use as "medicinal". Prohibition is probably illegal and against most human dignities, and oppression of users and their encarceration is just the modern context of subjugation that our species has always practiced.

I can surely understand the roots of fear: alcohol abuse, opiate abuse, cocaine. We've screwed up horribly on how to handle these issues.

It's ridiculous that we've had to bend over backwards to ensure that people who do actually need it medicinally get it. It's craziness.

i'm on my home computer now so i guess this is as good a time as any to kind of fess up about something and be honest...

i enjoy smoking herb every once in a while. not nearly like i used to years ago, but occasionally (usually when i find myself at my ex brother-in-law's house) last time was around Thanksgiving.

before i joined the service i did it all and a lot of it. mostly psychadelics and old fashioned crystal meth but all weed when the other stuff wasn't around. it was a lifestyle.
