Lowland & Orkidea - Masochrist is really wonderful!

That wasn't concidered as a real artist album but just a collection of his officially unreleased more laid back old and new material he had done over the years and of which some were originally made as theme songs for tv shows and such. The cd release was purely for the biggest fans with its pressing of about 300 copies.

Thanks for the explanation .

nice tune

Sounds like absolute rubbish to me

Such a poor colab from both David west and Orkidea. So far I think this is the worst track out of the album.

Sounds really good

Just ordered this cd from Baroque Records... looking forward to hearing this even though I haven't really liked Orkidea's recent releases. Hopefully there are some tracks that make this worth the purchase... and those downloadable track files better be encoded at 320 kbps.

Great album.

Metaverse, Masochrist and Stretching Time are favorite tracks.

btw. you can already buy album from StreetBeat.

not upto the mark

Posted by phant0m on Mar-07-2008 12:45:

"Free Dreams" sounds like a trance-orientated rework of "Dreams are Free" that was featured on "Music Speaks in Thousand Languages".

Umm.. Maybe it is?

Nice album. I do't think that God's garden (welsh morphology part II) or Bye Bye Beautiful are that good tracks but there are some awesome tracks. Metaverse, Masochrist and Requiem are really good tracks. Lowland & Orkidea seems to work well.

Next I have to check what I can download with the code I got witht he CD.

This Album is one of the best in this Year! Superb Stufff, thx God there are still some Real Trance Producers!!

Owsom realse

This is a great album. Each track is just quality melodic and progressive trance at its best.

Here is the review from trance.nu:

In Metaverse Orkidea, with the help of some of the most talented producers in trance, has set a benchmark, a year zero if you will, for the genre. Any producers starting out in trance, whether it is producing, DJing, running a label or just listening to the stuff should buy this album and learn from it. This is original, melodic, euphoric glazier-beautiful music radiating class and warmth from the very first second to the last. In fact, you could, and should, play this to anyone who asks you what trance is and not worry about looking stupid. No overblown breakdowns, no clichd vocals, no sense of numbing inevitability that you get listening to most new trance tunes, just ten tracks of pure, quality futuristic trance bliss. Perfection. 5/5

definitely one of the better tunes on the cd, but it's pretty much all excellent, year zero being the weakest effort on the album itself. Really good overall though, esp compared to some albums which are out lately... 9/10

Not too impressed by this album; but Stretching Time is a masterpiece indeed
Diggin' Masochrist as well.

I have been enjoying this album a lot recently. I like a lot of Orkidea's bass lines.
