as about the mashup, it's neat...I'm not quite a fan of Mr. Deadmau5 but I like some of his productions.

nice

that one loop of faxing berlin is great. i might buy it and just edit it to play it over and over again. breakdown is very unicorn

it's got this early 90s soft rock sound to it

reminds me a little of

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnejNGprm3I

but is nowhere near as awesome

on a side note, i'd like to hear sting over faxing berlin

Wow, awesome, somebody took the time to record their attempt at a satirical bashing of Deadmau5! Deadmau5 must be laughing all the way to the bank

yeah, it probably took like 2 minutes to make, just like the original tracks!

Deadmau5 is the kindda of person who makes other people's argument of 'Listening to whole track by leeching first, if I like it than I will buy it' valid and justified.

I dunno about you guys, but I think the world needs more 8th notes.

He's actually proven a pretty good sport in light of the perpetual criticism he received. If you look at his comments, they largely consist of sarcastically agreeing to those remarks, more or less making light of them.

Pretty good way to handle it, considering that the guy apparently can't release a single track without getting slammed over several pages (whether legitimate or not).

You can't accuse him of failing to roll with the punches, and I don't think we'll be seeing a Dave Dresden type goodbye on his end any time soon.

Took me a while to find it, but found it a few weeks ago.

Check back in a few minutes for a link.

EDIT: Here ya go. It's actually not that bad, but it didn't do his reputation any favors after his departure:

Dave Dresden's Goodbye

hell... that's not bad at all. as a matter of fact, well done on his part. forums are riddled with retards who believe that their cocks will grow bigger by talking shit. it's fucking pathetic.

agreed.

and a vast majority of the comments are really unwarranted, in my opinion.

I don't like all of his productions, but I do enjoy most of them.

Huh. And all these years I've been thinking "I missed Dave Dresden leaving". Apparently not.

The thing I liked about Jaded, Faxing Berlin and Not Exactly were that they were all really minimalistic (in terms of arrangement not neccesarly genre) Which is always going to make them sound a bit the same. But I still love the tracks There's something really refined and elegant about them which I can't really put my finger on, just because I'm not a good enough producer to work out what he's doing so well.

Yes, it is time for the 8th Note's stranglehold grip on all music to end. The use of an 8th note is clearly a sign of musical wankery.

deadmau5 - faxing exactly (they're fucking the same mashup)
