I have never had dial up in my life. Never needed internet until broadband was starting to go mainstream....

Only 2300 households in Sweden cannot get broadband today. Soon 100% of Sweden can get broadband. 
I remember having to go to the library to search the internet in books.
I've had broadband since 1996. I paid my dial up dues though, when I got my first modem it was the fastest you could get and it was 2400 baud.
in my hometown all you could get was dial up until about 5 years ago.. sometimes it sucks living on a mountain
even the school had it hahah

I was on dialup till 2005. Nothing else was available.
On 2mb broadband at the moment, wireless hookup. Still no DSL where I am.

i downloaded a movie once, it lasted 4 months to download 
I used it until 1999, then dealt with broadband ever since
I remember back in 97 when I upgraded from a 28.8k to a 56k modem. I remember being amazed on how fast stuff downloaded after the upgrade

Had dial up for ages when I was a student, but finally got cable in 2002. Now using 24Mbit ADSL2+
I remember having 14k on a 486...which we just upgraded to Windows 95!
It took about 30 minutes to grab an 4 MB file, and webpages with more than 3 images crashed the machine...
I'm not THAT old...I just feel like I am sometimes
2400 baud modems. Playing LORD. That was the shit.
BBSs were the greatest things back in the day. I use to run one from my dorm in University
