not NTSC as far as i know. but there are other ways to enjoy it.

the sad thing is that they are prolly making a US version of Spaced. which is a severe desecration of the original. there is no way a US version will be successful, just like there is no way a US Top Gear could be the same|

How many series are the americans going for?
The original version was 2 series of 6...

Anyway from what I've seen of the american version, it is very obvious...not saying it's bad for it to be like that, but the original version was so...original

Yep me neither. Is anyone familiar with the UK version though, like.....Ian. How would you compare the two, I want to watch it but I think I want to finish season three before I do so.

I think they're both a pile of shite.

Why?

Well for a start, ricky gervais is about as funny as cancer with a side topping of aids. He used to be edgy & funny when he was new, but he sacrificed it all for money in watered down stupid shit for the beeb. Like that episode of the simpsons he wrote, it was perhaps the worst episode i've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of bad ones over the years

For true british humour, look no further than hugh lawrie in house.

Have the whole thing on my external. fuckign CLASSIC show I love it. I'm happy season 4 started hour long episodes. LOL @ the rabies funrun epsisode, I have the t-shirt. ALso LOL@ foot on bacon burn. LOL@ anything involving dwight.

Just when I thought NOTHING could be funnier than scrubs, i saw The Office. I say they tie for HAHA factor in my book.

I really like it but I have some serious anxiety when I watch it. I tend to internalize other people's embarrassment... so you can imagine how I feel whenever Michael does something stupid.

Posted by SteelWolf on Apr-07-2008 21:22:

^me too, he'll do something and its almost painful isn't it?

been rewatching it while i'm on the treadmill in anticipation

oh god, the episode i was watching the other day, i'd completely forgotten about one line and almost fell off the treadmill i was laughing so hard.

pam's in a hallway sitting on a bench crying, and dwight walks in and for once starts to seem like a decent and moral human being.
Dwight: Who did this to you? Where is he?
Pam: What? No, it's nothing
[dwight takes off his jacket, says it's hot kinda awkwardly, then gives her a handkerchief]
Pam: Thanks, you don't need to stay here.
Dwight: I know [puts his arm around her]

OK up to this point its actually seeming like dwight's being a good person, and iw as like wtf's going on. then dwight talks again

Dwight: So you're pms'ing pretty bad, huh?

LAFFO!
