Great Outdoors: I Have no problem with your opinions, you are intitled to think what ever you like.
Mister Shockwave doesnt have to agree with me but he must respect my opinion.
But he chooses to nominate me to wanker of the month.
I Will not start another argument here, he's clearly just a child in his mind...
sound quality.. pfft.. when the tunes are blaring out of the club's PA, you're not gonna be saying "yo, thats sounds SOOO digital..."
CD's are convenient. Thats their biggest plus. It's also cheaper, cheaper material, not as much maintenance required, etc.
However, nothing comes close to manipulating vinyl IMO. It's such a flexible medium. Its all about the feel. Pressing buttons and turning jogwheels are cold compared to actually touching your music, and feeling its grooves through your fingers. Although the 1000's are trying to simulate this... but most people still prefer the real thing.
That's why most of us are still clinging to these big black 12 inchers, it just feels so good.... ![]()

I think that it's up to every single person to decide what sounds best...
I personally like vinyl better because of the rich sound it gives but cd is so much easier...
