I guess the biggest reason it's funny to me is that from the o-chem majors I've known throughout the years, it seems that not-consuming alcohol in any form what-so-ever is effectively impossible due to the fact that so many foods naturally create different trace elements of different types of ethyl alcohol somewhat randomly as a means of production.

God damnit. Fucking Muslims complain about fuckin everything that's not fitting their god damn regime. But then again my Jew mom does the exact same thing. If there's a hint of pig in anything she orders, she freaks out and tells the whole restaurant she's Jewish, guilt trips them into comping her meal, and I get sooooooo embarrassed.
