Anaheim > Detroit

Name me Ottawa's depth.

yeah....the injuries this year have shown us that they are as deep as a Yoji Dj set.

big time. That's why they have such a hard on for Hossa, we have what, 18 mins left?

They should pull a Colorado and sign Brad Marsh

Posted by princesultan on Feb-26-2008 19:59:

hossa to penguins....i'm pretty pissed off...

Posted by Passskal on Feb-26-2008 20:00:

wow good job Bob

Posted by elFreak on Feb-26-2008 20:00:

just fucking wow. Gainey manages to make the team worse. Just fucking wow.

Posted by Sean Walsh on Feb-26-2008 20:00:

FUCK

Posted by princesultan on Feb-26-2008 20:01:

gainey imitation "we want an impact player"

this is just stupid....WHY WOULD THEY TRADE HUET NOW...WHY?!?!!? i think they got confused and traded away an impact player rather then receiving one.

Posted by Passskal on Feb-26-2008 20:02:

looks like pittsburg gave a lot though for him

Posted by elFreak on Feb-26-2008 20:04:

Don't forget Crosby isnt even playing. What they did is say, we are going to the cup because no one did fucking anything in the east. Just fucking wow...

Posted by shiraz781 on Feb-26-2008 20:06:

yeah just great...i agree sultan..gainey was confused and traded an impact player and got gatorade and bench space for it man i really dont know how the habs r gonna handle the penguins and the sens in the east...the dream is over! unless the gatorade tastes good hehe

Posted by Sean Walsh on Feb-26-2008 20:07:

Stupid longterm trade for pittsburg IMO since I don't think they can lock down Hossa -- they have to re-sign Malkin at the end of the season.

Still, I'm irritated atm.

Posted by Spin Laden on Feb-26-2008 20:10:

I don't think so.. this is Hossa we're talking about. Pittsburg's solid at forward and some dude named Crosby is coming back soo.

imo, winners were:

Washington, big time
and Pittsburg. Ottawa did it's trade last week but I'm a little concerned with Montreal.. no big splash.

Posted by Passskal on Feb-26-2008 20:12:

anybody knows what's happening with Jokinen???

Posted by Sean Walsh on Feb-26-2008 20:14:

Seems like nothing, I know the Canucks had a big offer in, but doubt we were in.

Posted by elFreak on Feb-26-2008 20:15:

No more big trades...Jokinen stays. Gainey pulls a Rejean Houle.

Posted by Passskal on Feb-26-2008 20:16:

CA SENT LA COUPE....!!!!

...A PITTSBURG!

Posted by Spin Laden on Feb-26-2008 20:16:

wow, don't forget Gary Roberts too. Isn't he due back at some point? Pittsburg.. almost lost their team and now are solid favourites with Montreal, Ottawa and maybe the Rangers.

Edit, pittsburgh with an H

Posted by princesultan on Feb-26-2008 20:33:

do i have to go to the game tonight???

this is such a disapointment.

Posted by Sean Walsh on Feb-26-2008 20:37:

Come now, the season isn't exactly over yet.

Posted by princesultan on Feb-26-2008 20:39:

definately not over....but come on....we were pretty much told we're gonna get someone good.

Every year his name is mentioned and every year nothing happens

Posted by ChemEnhanced on Feb-26-2008 20:55:

I definately expected montreal to do something big and they did...just not what everyone thought they would do. It could be a good trade for the future but they needed something to put them over the top for this year.
