I like the concept of relinquishing possession, but I find that some things I own are important to me. I mean physical things. Not just for the fact that they are mine, but because they represent something to me that is an elevation of their worth. That is to say, the thought or consideration things can elicit may very well be far more important than the item, itself - but there is still a representation that does not go unvalued and I would be quite remiss were I to lose some of these things.

I value some material things. I have no doubt the unposted second half of the video shows the rest of the present opening, and he opens a gift box from Gap or something, and the xbox is in there.
