TBH JZ has also been eh for me lately, he's just not playing music that is really interesting to me, personal tastes have changed a bit. I'm pretty sure he'll close given that he is the bigger name.

....but you're right trance isn't they same as it used to be back in the day. but he can't say it sucks just because he likes to listen to boring and uninspired minimal or whatever the hell it is he listens to, because many other people like it and his opinion isn't representative of anything. good trance is still around, you just have to open your ears.

u are crazy! where were u last sat when CL and JOOF were killing it at vanguard? There is fantastic trance out there, i think better then any time in the past, you just cant go to Armin, Tiesto, Ferry, and all the other HUGE trance DJs that play the commercial cheese to hear it.

and i hope ur not suggesting to move on from trance and into

minimal

and I agree with Clovis JZ has been quite boring last couple times I saw him. He used to be my favorite DJ for 2 years.

Ya, but JOOF plays psy-trance. I was talking about trance. Plus, I'm not into the stuff him or Lawrence plays. I feel like I'm going to have a seizure everytime I do.

these threads are so stupid...when are people going to learn that everybody has their own taste in music, and stop talking shit to people for liking a certain genre of EDM

Just make the effort and put in the time to figure out what you like, that is the key. You cant help what you like. It can be compared to food or beer. Are you going to hate on people cause they like pizza or bud light, and claim that pizza isnt good as it used to be just cause you dont like it anymore? Very similiar concepts
