Edit: here

So no more mystery, which is why I was saying it was late to jump on the discussion wagon now.

Brutal. I wish the ads were for something where the connection between ad and message weren't so stretched. It's a clever campaign, but the wow factor at the end really falls flat.

this campaign would have been better if it was aimed at taking a stab at the pharmaceautical industry. i would have loved to have seen that!

That's what I was thinking it would be. Definitely falls short.

it's a matter of drawing the line somewhere. Photography and arts, boosting cars and building lowriders and other things they "love doing" are merely hobbies; most parents are concerned that their kids may not succeed by following their desires.

Money can be made with what you love doing, no doubt about it; it's just that there are some individuals that can not commit to putting the best of their skills and passion to become wealthy and achieve their ultimate goals in life.

You don't need a degree to be successful in what you do, you need persistency, consistency and tactic.

What's more, the chances of a child succeeding in a field of study (especially a likely difficult one like engineering, medecin, etc) which was forced upon him/her is very low. I can understand why a parent would want to try to force their child into a field of study that would lead to work in a more lucrative industry, but it's very misguided. In my opinion, for the average person, those fields of study are near impossible to excel in unless you take a personal interest in it.

There's a saying.....beat the iron while it's hot.

If you want your kids to become something, show them the way while they're young so they can get a zest of it; get them involved in activities that get them interested in the subject of work that looks promising in the future, when they're all grown up.

Telling the kid he/she can not do this and that when they're 12 or older is a hassle as they have a sense of the world, they're not "quite fresh" anymore, they form their own ideas and personalities (well...most of them)
