how does this whole remixing work? ppl make music first then send to their choice of djs and they do remix on it? then they send it back for release? what if the ownder don't like the remix? or can anybody else do a remix on it and send to owner for release??? i donno...

i remember now that i think i heard airbase remix. it was the first remix i think then shah then elevation then jorn and eco, etc. damn. some names doing remixes there.

Yeah Elevation is my boy and all---but Eco mix is seriously off the HOOK. Best out of all the mixes in my opinion.

100% support on both.

Awesome!! Thanks Anymore!!! And thanks to everyone for the buzz.. We're really fortunate to have the different remixers involved and the feedback this pack is starting to receive... We're talking to a couple labels to partner with and hopefully the release will be very soon, as it should be since it is now being supported by the big guys on their radio shows.

Dj Eco really delivers an awesome mix!! A bit of a Ferry Corsten feel. It is wild what he did to Anna's vocals!! Anna really loves it too!! Jorn delivers a nice trance stormer!! And Elevation is like candy to the ears, Airbase does some wild stuff I had not heard before from him. Kind of a techy, feel. Dj Shah is smooth!! and there is still newcomer Peter Wibe's mix which is nice proggy take on it. We can't choose a best one though because they all destroy dancefloors at different times...but I am really loving the Eco mix We're gonna drop it this weekend at the Fur, Rank 1 show. Place is gonna be madness this Saturday, followed by more March madness when Eco and the crew come to town for the Talla show!!!!

ive only been djing for almost a year..ive played a Love,Rebel(Thanks to CORE NYC),and Exit in BK..my biggest gig had to be closing out the main floor at Avalon on thanksgiving eve when Eco,Martin Roth,Eddie Halliwell, and John O'Callaghan played..but the best gig was a few weeks ago when i played at Love in the cave..even tho it was only an hour and change i had the room packed and moving and i got alot alot of compliments on my set..next step for me is learning Reason and Logic to start producing

Well, a producer makes a track. Let's take my tune "Light At The End" from last year for example. I send it to labels and a label signed it, just happened to be Martin's new label, Lunatique Records. Martin sayys "Oo I love it!" and puts his thinking-cap on and either goes over his phonebook/rolodex to see which one of his friends in the business would put a good remix in and with a smile on of course, AND/OR contacts someone hot at the moment and has them do a remix. When dealing with relatively mid/big level artists, they usually get paid upfront, as if for a gig or something. Smaller artists get paid % of how many purchases they get.

So yeah, my tune gets sent to John O'Callaghan and Thomas Bronzwaer and they do a remix, probably AFTER signing a deal with the label, considering they're in the upper-tier of producers with a lot of demand. The remix is finished, Martin hopes he likes it (which we did) and we put it all out. I can't say I've ever been part of a project where the label didn't like the remix and thus, didn't release it. However, with small/mid level guys like me, sometimes I give a shot at remixing a big guy's tune once in a while, and if the big guy likes it, it gets added to the remixes, and if not, it gets thrown out (since there's no prior agreement to do the remix, I just went on my own and did it).... That can be played as a "bootleg remix" but not sold. I've been lucky enough not to have a remix of mine thrown out because they didn't like it, and I look forward to keeping that run going!!

Hope that explains it..

omg the kid is such a douchebag. He does the same thing in all his videos. wtf?

Well all the ones I've heard are simply amazing.

Elevations is just amazingly beautiful.

Eco's is one that you'd def want to hear in a high energy set.

Still need to hear Mike Foyles but so far all are good in their own way. My boss loves Elevations mix though. Only cuz walking by my desk during ASOT he though it was a depeche mode song.
